Occupancy Etiquette & Decorum
The post-occupancy period demands a higher-level of customer service and a refined skillset due to the nature of in-suite work. When working in occupied suites, the focus of the customer experience shifts to institutional knowledge of construction performance guidelines, clean work spaces and efficient delivery of services. An experienced deficiency repair Technician should be able to distinguish between warrantable and non-warrantable deficiencies, confidently make repairs and provide clear communication to the owner and Customer Care team. Our delivery method is highly efficient (we use high-quality 3M service carts) and our workspaces are cleaned after every repair. In addition, we use a "just in case" inventory method so that any finishing materials are on-hand and ready for use or installation.
What kind of deficiencies do we repair?
Deficiencies are construction items that require repairs as part of the new home warranty program in Ontario. Deficiencies are typically found during a PDI walkthrough with your builder prior to taking possession of your unit. They can also be discovered on a construction "punch list", Tarion 30 Day Form and Tarion Year End Form. RDS repairs a variety of common trade deficiencies that include:
